What 30 days can and can't do

Set the target honestly so you keep going. In 30 consistent days you can realistically expect: to start speaking without a long freeze, to fix a handful of high-impact pronunciation issues, to stop translating word-for-word on familiar topics, and to have rehearsed a few real situations (an intro, an update, an interview answer). What you should not expect is native-level fluency, a guaranteed exam band, or an accent change — those take much longer. Aiming for "measurably more confident and clearer," not "fluent," is what makes the month succeed.

The 15-minute daily loop

Consistency beats intensity. The same short loop every day, applied to that week's focus, is the engine of the whole plan.

  1. Warm up (2 min). Say one easy sentence about your day to get your mouth moving.
  2. Speak on one prompt (7 min). Answer or discuss a single prompt out loud; don't stop at every word.
  3. Get feedback, pick one fix (3 min). Use per-sentence feedback to choose the single highest-impact correction.
  4. Re-say and log it (3 min). Repeat with the fix, then note it so tomorrow builds on it.

The week-by-week plan

WeekFocus & what to do
Week 1 — Foundation & habitBuild the habit on easy, familiar topics (your day, opinions, plans). Goal: finish a short exchange every day without switching to your first language. Success = you showed up 6–7 days.
Week 2 — Fluency & keeping goingLonger answers; practise bridges ("what I mean is…", "for example…") to replace silences. Extend every answer with one reason or example. Goal: speak for a full minute without stalling.
Week 3 — Pronunciation & clarityTarget the few sounds and word-stress patterns that most affect being understood; use per-sentence feedback and drill one per session. Goal: fewer "sorry, could you repeat that?" moments.
Week 4 — Real scenariosRehearse the situations you actually need: self-introduction, a status update, an interview answer, a work call. Run each a few times until it feels automatic. Goal: enter a real situation already warmed up.

How to run it with an AI partner

An AI speaking partner is what makes a daily loop possible when you don't have a person to talk to every day. FluentDojo gives you real-time voice conversation you can interrupt, per-sentence pronunciation scoring to pick that day's one fix, and a review queue to carry it to tomorrow. You can describe a scenario in your own language first, then run it in English.

Free users get 3 voice sessions per day and 20 per month after sign-up (members: 15/day, 200/month) — a 15-minute daily session fits comfortably in the free tier for most of this plan. Quotas describe available sessions, not a result.

What it can and can't do

FluentDojo is a browser-based AI English speaking and pronunciation partner — no native app to download. It supports this routine, but it is not a teacher, and does not promise fluency, an accent change, an interview offer, or an exam score. For official exam rules use the testing body's resources.

Start the routine with AI English speaking practice; focus a week on pronunciation or conversation, or browse all speaking guides.
